Offers 11 weeks of English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for those hoping to improve their English skills. Students who register will take a placement test to determine their skill level: Pre-A, A, B, C, or D. Each course is taught as a non-credit university course.
Serves as a training lab for students majoring in Early Childhood, Early Childhood Education, and Elementary Education, as well as a teaching school for young children. Aligned with Utah's Early Learning Standards, provides quality care and education for young children from the surrounding communities.
Offers six self-paced courses designed to help clients learn to use e-mail, browse the internet, and protect personal files and photos or learn the basics of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Clients have unlimited access to video-based instruction, work-based projects, and assessments, and may start and finish each course at their own pace within a six-month window.
Program aims to mentor and educate young children's parents and encourage engagement in literacy activities with their children. The program teaches parents culturally appropriate parenting strategies, focusing on daily literacy activities, visiting educational centers, reducing punitive parenting practices, and increasing positive family interactions.
