For learners who need to improve basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills. Services include classroom instruction, one-to-one tutoring, computer-assisted instruction and distance learning. Services are delivered by a diverse provider network composed of community-based organizations (CBOs), local education agencies (LEAs), and correctional education.
Assists adults in completing high school and receiving a diploma or recognized equivalent. Students must meet state and local requirements. Any credits earned in high school or at other adult education programs may be applied towards earning high school credit. Credits may be awarded for prior work experience.
Empowers non-English speaking individuals to become knowledgeable in English in order to become self sufficient with the English skills necessary for current and future employment and for personal success in daily life.
