Provides services for older adults including a nutrition program, transportation services, education programs, socialization, and recreation. Log onto the website and access the newsletter for an updated list of events and activities.
Volunteer opportunities available to help with the Meals on Wheels program and transportation services. Volunteer drivers need to be willing to deliver meals to home bound seniors. Must have own transportation and be willing to volunteer one day a week for one and a half hours. Bus driver volunteers are required in the afternoon to drive seniors home and to medical appointments.
Serves nutritious lunch, on weekdays, to adults and their guests.
Provides safe, efficient, accessible, and courteous transportation to and from the center, doctor appointments, and shopping to those 60 years and older.
A Federal and State cooperative program designed to assist those 60 years and older, who are homebound, have a disability, frail, or at risk condition, and who qualify through an assessment. The program provides hot lunches.
Provides information and counseling to sign up for Medicare, compare plans, or make sure older adults have the right health and prescription drug coverage.
