Connects Hispanic families to the community by facilitating improved English reading and appreciation within Latino families. Volunteers go in pairs to read with the families in their homes.
Matches BYU students with individuals with cognitive disabilities. Provides one-on-one outings and mentoring. Also provides the opportunity to learn music and basic choreography in preparation for a concert at the end of the semester.
Sports instruction and playing for elementary age children who have Down’s Syndrome. Taught by BYU athlete volunteers.
Pairs BYU students with youth (elementary, middle, or high school students) from the community who need academic tutoring. Tutoring is held on BYU campus or over Zoom.
ACCESS and Impact are programs matching a male/female pair of volunteers to a child ages 4-12 years old (ACCESS) and 13-17 (IMPACT) Activities may include helping with homework, playing games, or watching movies.
