Volunteers support the hospital, its patients, staff and guests in a variety of capacities. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 72 hours, hours are flexible. See website for a list of current volunteer tasks or donation requests.
Offers a Level III Trauma Center and is staffed 24/7 with compassionate and highly skilled emergency doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff. All are board certified in emergency medicine. Less than 30 minute wait times are the goal; life flight is also offered for critical care emergencies.
Utah law allows birth parents to anonymously give up custody of newborn child without facing any legal consequences. Any Utah hospital is designated as Safe Haven for newborns to be dropped off safely. DCFS then places the child for an immediate adoption.
