Iron County Youth Services Center

Receiving center providing a location for law enforcement or parents to take youth after arrest or during a crisis situation. The center provides temporary shelter for youth, screens for needs and makes a plan with the family for the future success of the youth.

Description:

Receiving center for runaway/delinquent youth or youth in crisis. Staff are responsible for locating parents, assessing immediate needs, and directing youth and their families to resources. Services include youth crisis intervention if needed.

Eligibility:
Youth in need of crisis intervention or youth who have been referred by a DCFS worker.
Service Hours:
Su - Sa 6 am - 10 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call or receive referral from DCFS staff.
