Description:

Provides education services for students K - 12 that live in Ogden City. Consists of 13 elementary schools, 3 junior high schools, 2 comprehensive high schools, 1 alternative high school, 1 youth-in custody school, and serves approximately 11,500 students and their families. Has an early childhood center with a special education preschool offering general preschool through a combination of district-operated and partner programs. Instructional material program offers all students in the Ogden School District, K - 8th grade Literacy Grab and Go Pack, which includes text books that reflect student's interests. Other services also include computer distribution and tutoring.

Literacy Grab and Go Packs

Description

All students, K - 8th grade are eligible to receive a Literacy Grab and Go Pack, which includes text books that reflect student's interests, spark imagination and keep students on the path to becoming lifelong readers. Books include reflection sheets, a family guide to literacy, and a social-emotional well-being guide to support students and their families. COVID-19 UPDATE: Following all State and CDC guidelines.

Special Notes/Funding

Secondary Math Summer School 2021

Description

Teacher directed, online courses designed to help students recover credits in Secondary Math 1, 2, or 3 and acquire the necessary foundational skills needed to be successful in the future math courses. Three separate two-week block sessions are offered. Students will be able to earn 0.25 credits of math recovery for each block session with daily required video instruction and check-ins with the teacher.
