Utah AIDS Foundation

Offers assistance and expertise to anyone diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Also aims to reduce new occurrences of HIV and sexually transmitted infections in the community through prevention, education, and outreach services. Services include HIV/STI testing, health care and resource referrals, disease information and public awareness education, HIV/AIDS prevention counseling, and HIV/AIDS support groups.

Public Awareness/Education
Description:

Does event tabling, presentations, and trainings for healthcare facilities.

AIDS/HIV Prevention Counseling
Description:

Outreach program directed to the LGBTQ+ community, women, and at-risk youth.

Eligibility:
Clients that get tested in the foundation.
Service Hours:
M - F 9 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Clients will have counseling when they get tested for HIV.

Description:

Weekly support group for people with HIV/AIDS.

Eligibility:
Active diagnosis of HIV/AIDS.

W 6 - 7 pm

Disease/Disability Information
Description:

Hotline offers statewide locations of HIV testing and resource referrals to physicians, attorneys, dentists, mental health professionals, and medical services. It also provides limited crisis intervention and mailings of AIDS related materials.

Description:

Provides referrals to other HIV test sites across Utah.

HIV Testing
Description:

Confidential HIV and STI (Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia) testing available.

Intake Procedure:
Walk in during listed hours.
Fees:
HIV rapid testing at no cost. Other STI testing fees vary by test given, see website for fee schedule.
